1. General Information
This document outlines the terms and conditions governing bookings, events, and website use for
Locale woodfire catering.
2. Use of Website
By using this website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful purposes
- Copy or reproduce content without permission
- Interfere with website functionality or security
- Submit false or misleading booking information
3. Bookings & Deposits
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings.
- Deposits are forfeited in full upon cancellation, regardless of timing.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 Wedding Events
- More than 14 days prior: Forfeit full deposit.
- 14 days or fewer: 100% of total contracted amount + deposit.
4.2 Standard (Non-Wedding) Events
- More than 14 days prior: Forfeit full deposit.
- 7 days or fewer: 100% of total contracted amount + deposit.
5. Payment Terms
- Full payment is due by the date specified in the contract.
- Weddings: Full payment required 30 days prior to the event.
- Standard events: Full payment required 14 days prior to the event.
- Late or incomplete payments may result in service cancellation without refund.
6. Menu Changes & Guest Counts
- Final menu selections and guest numbers must be submitted by the contract deadline.
- Reductions after this date may not reduce the final invoice.
7. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Clients must notify Locale woodfire catering of allergies or dietary needs in advance.
- We can not guarantee allergen-free preparation.
8. Rubbish & Waste Disposal
- Client is responsible for all rubbish and waste unless removal services are pre-arranged.
- Client must provide bins, dispose legally, and comply with venue/local rules.
- Additional fees may apply if the caterer must remove waste.
9. Weather & Site Conditions
9.1 Severe Weather (Wet or Windy Conditions)
- Client must provide protection (marquee, tent, or cover) in severe rain/wind.
- Ground protection and wind-resistant setup required.
- Inadequate protection may result in modified or refused service; no refund.
9.2 Lighting Requirements
- Sufficient lighting required for prep, service, bars, and walkways.
- Insufficient lighting may cause delays or service relocation.
9.3 Power & Safety
- Client provides safe electrical access, stable work areas, and access routes.
- Locale woodfire catering is not liable for limitations caused by unsafe sites.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, logos, and menus, is owned by Locale woodfire catering
and cannot be used without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
Locale woodfire catering is not liable for:
- Website errors or downtime
- Misprints or content inaccuracies
- Losses due to events outside our control
12. Privacy Policy
Personal information is confidential and used only for business purposes. We do not sell or share
client data.
13. Force Majeure
Locale woodfire catering is not responsible for failure to perform due to events beyond our control,
including weather, natural disasters, illness, supply shortages, or government restrictions. Deposits
remain non-refundable; additional payments may be refunded per contract.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website and our
services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
